Meredith Carr

Meredith Carr is a veteran marketing communications professional. For 13 years, she was owner / president of Alternative, Strategic Advertising & Promotions, a full-service marketing communications firm with clients in health care, transportation, hospitality and tourism, arts and entertainment, financial services and retail.

Before founding ASAP, Meredith held senior corporate positions in marketing and strategic planning. She has strong tourism experience as senior marketing manager at Gaylord Entertainment Company, where she managed a $6 million+ marketing budget that included five entertainment properties and required close collaboration with the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Meredith works with organizations to understand their marketing needs, develop strategic marketing plans and execute these plans through targeted advertising and promotions. She has served as an adjunct professor at Belmont University's School of Business. She also has a passion for public service, and is continually involved with pro bono campaigns for non-profit entities in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
