Young Country Legend John Anderson Celebrates
His Body Of Work With Anthology Release

Nashville - With the release of his 25th album, Anthology, October 22, on JA Records/Audium Records, country music’s first new traditionalist attains legendary status. "This project has great significance to me," Anderson says in the liner notes, "as this music and the musicians who played it, have become a big part of my life over the past 25 years."

The package contains 30 hits, many of which the multi-award-winning Anderson penned, including his biggest career songs, "Swingin’" and "Seminole Wind." "Swingin’" became country’s first platinum single. It also reigns at No. 30 of the all-time jukebox hits, along with Patsy Cline’s "Crazy" and George Jones’ "He Stopped Loving Her Today." The Beatles’ "Hey Jude" sits at No. 31. Anderson co-produced Anthology with Joe F. Spivey and dedicates the album to his late friend and co-writer, Lionel Delmore.

Anthology, which constitutes a musical autobiography, also includes "1959," "Black Sheep," "Down in Tennessee," "I’m Just an Old Chunk of Coal," "Your Lyin’ Blue Eyes," "Money in the Bank," "Straight Tequila Night," "Chicken Truck” and "Would You Catch A Fallen Star."
